职位描述：

Responsibilities

1.Administrate and Maintain Infrastructure Systems and Business applications in Data Centre by monitoring and correcting both hardware and software defects in order to provide optimum, highest uptime and continual usage for Business operations. Perform regular backups and executing recovery.

2.Provides 2^ND Level of Technical assistance in supporting and assisting users’ daily automated processes and tasks in relation to all business applications and prescribed software within Star Cruises offices.

3.Provide assistance to ships and oversea office in administrating and maintaining Infrastructure Systems in respective Data Centre / Computer Room.

4.Recognizes and takes action when escalation and de-escalation is required for critical and urgent cases and follow designated procedures.

5.A member and involves in appointed / undertaking project(s).

6.Provide Weekly/Monthly status report on work progress

7.SQL support

8.Acts as Database Administrator (DBA)

Qualifications

Education

1.Diploma Advanced / Higher, or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology

Experience

1. 3-4 years work experiences as System Engineer/Administration role

Technical Skills

1.Microsoft Servers Services deployment, administration, and troubleshooting such as:

2.Active Directory 2003/2008 multi sites setup

3.Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010 and all its components for enterprise type Mail system ( such as Blackberry, outlook connections with Exchange email server or other mail hosts )

4.Strong foundation and knowledge on providing, administering and management of disaster recovery solutions through replication, backups and virtualization such as:

5.Virtual Servers preferably on VMware platform and its related components such as SAN, NAS or DAS, and Fibre Switches

6.Backup Solutions Netbackup7 preferably

7.Familiarity with Change Control practices, e.g. testing, backup and recovery, patch management, review boards and associated documentation

8.Excellent Engineering skills to include ability to troubleshoot design and fix enterprise wide systems.

Soft Skills

1.Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities

2.Works well individually or in a group setting

3.Ability to work under pressure and time constraints

4.Successfully presents technical information
