Job Responsibilities:
? The ***H engineer is i***olved in the full range of noise and vibration activities on component, system level and in-vehicle for our products incl. sub suppliers.
? The work typically ranges from benchmarking and target setting through to full ***H development and troubleshooting to production conformity and support.
? The department has at its own equipment for data acquisition, simulation and analysis which need to be further developed for current and future applications.
? Projects are undertaken on behalf of either product development teams within SDAAC.
? The work i***olves taking responsibility either for complete projects within the department.
? The technical nature of the work is likely to cover the full range of ***H analysis, test and development activities and will additionally i***olve the candidate with vehicle and product engineering, instrumentation and computing activities.
? The position will likely involve some travel in China and abroad, and occasionally the employee may be required to work at client sites.
? Ensure quick and reliable response to product ***H requests.
? Tracking validation test requests conducted on test bench precisely.
? Contribution of lessons learned for test procedure improvements
? Test report for each new project validation test.
? Analyzing/updating customer test criteria for new test skill explore.
? Formulating specification for new facility and existing facilities upgrade.
? Analysis the Correlation test between benches to unify test procedure and benchmark each other.
Qualifications and Requirement:
? Education
Bachelor or higher, Thermal Engineering
? Experience
Knowledge of the fundamentals of sound and vibration are essential.
The use of Digital Signal Processing analysis techniques and experience in the application of CAE tools to solve ***H problems will also be an advantage.
Experience with the application of Finite Element Method (FEM), Boundary Element Method (BEM), Fast Fourier Transforms (FFT) and Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA)
Experience in NHV testing and validation in Automotive applications, preferred on thermal systems product development
? Competencies
At least 5 years of ***H testing and practical ***H experience in automotive sector.
Familiar with Instrumentation such as condenser microphone, sound level meter, etc.
Familiar with Industrial standards for ***H testing DIN, JIS, SAE, etc.
Familiar with Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and broadband spectrum analysis
Capable of measuring and differentiating the noise (Airborne, Structural, etc.) and determining the source
Capable of developing real solutions to ***H issues
? Knowledge
Sound knowledge of ***H analysis techniques and tools such as fast Fournier Transforms and Modal Analysis
? Language
