Restoration Hardware is looking for a Lighting Leader, Sourcing & Product Integrity, Shanghai, China.

The Lighting Leader, Sourcing & Product Integrity will lead the execution of:

? Being direct and main in country go-to resource for internal RH Lighting Product Development, Merchandising, Planning & Quality Assurance teams.
? Identifying market areas of Lighting growth & recommending vendors and products/categories for consideration to RH and the Shanghai lighting team
? Oversee the RH Sourcing Specialists and insuring that all pertinent project and product deadlines are met.
? Vendor base development, including: understanding supplier strengths & opportunities, building vendor capabilities, and travel to domestic and Asian factories.
? Ensuring robust communication between Specialists, PD, Merchandisers, Vendors, & all RH Global Business Partners.

This area of responsibility includes, but is not limited to:

? Leading Sourcing processes in the assigned lighting categories to successfully execute and deliver RH products on time, which meet the design, quality and business needs.
? Management of pre-production and production approval process
? Production placement and reservations (based on information from planning and merchandising)
? Production tracking and reporting

The Leader will manage supplier relationships and establish yourself as a primary business contact for key suppliers; develop risk mitigation strategies for key category segments.

Primary Responsibilities

? Responsible for on-time delivery of samples and purchase orders for milestone meetings and reporting status and specifics to cross functional teams.
? Serve as primary contact to the agents and suppliers in managing the assigned categories
? Troubleshoot production/delivery problems in the assigned lighting categories
? Close working partnership with buyers and designers


Skills Required

Job Related Competencies:
? Build and maintain strong business relationships with cross-functional teams.
? Thorough understanding of the Lighting product life cycle and, inventory / order management processes.
? Ability to demonstrate courage and effectively drive change
? Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with key client and supplier stakeholders that have resulted in high customer satisfaction. Must have the ability to earn the trust of key business partners.
? The ability to work effectively in an extremely fast pace, ambiguous environment.
? The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem solving skills.

Education/Training:
? 5-7+ years of relevant Strategic Sourcing experience in Lighting.
? 4+ Years Production/Manufacturing experience in high end / boutique retail environment.
? Strong command of the English language
