职位描述：

ROLE SUMMARY:

This position is a key member of the HDGE management team leading a team with several direct reports. You are responsible for ensuring QMS process and product quality of the HDGE site, while driving process effectiveness and efficiency. In this role, the Quality Manager champions the evolution of the quality culture for the site which includes executing and driving site quality objectives, metrics, reporting and operating mechanisms.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Accountable for ensuring product quality adherence and QMS compliance of the HDGE manufacturing facility, while driving process effectiveness and efficiency at the site

· Ensure implementation of company procedures and proper documentation practices are followed per QMS requirements

· Ensures site audit readiness and hosts the Quality System audits; prepares and executes Quality Management System reviews

· Maintains and improves all aspects of product quality: incoming inspection, mfg process quality, in-process checks, final inspections, site driven installation issues etc.

· Owns all Quality-related communications and training requirements for all site employees.

· Supports timely closure of customer complaints, field actions, and quality system non-conformances in partnership with functional teams

· Oversees the Corrective Action / Preventive Action activities

· Owns and reports the site quality objectives, metrics, reporting and operating mechanisms.

· Acts as Management Representative for Quality at the Site for internal and external customers

· Coach and mentor functional teams on the development of Lean methodologies for process simplification and manufacturing operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineer /Manufacturing/Quality or equivalent

Minimum of 5 -10 years of experience in a medium sized mechanical/electrical equipment related industry

Minimum of 5- 10 years of experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing or quality System

High level experience in Quality Management Systems & Procedures

DESIRED:

Lean manufacturing techniques and process experience

Joint Venture or partnership operations experience
