职位描述
GENERAL
1. This position oversees the production and the technical functions of the manufacturing plant. It is part of the QingPu site leadership team and report directly to the QingPu plant manager.
2. This position plans and directs manufacturing operations that are involved in some chemical processing with manufacturing production. It required some chemical processing knowledge to make good decision and strategy planning. Capability support functions (HR, sourcing, finance analysis, logistic), maintenance function and EHS function do not report to this position however they will provide support to him or her to meet the plant overall goals. This position will oversees about 200-300 operation employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. The person must have a first degree in chemical/mechanical/electrical or relevant professional degree in manufacturing with at least about 5 to 8 years of manufacturing leadership experience preferable in chemical fiber industry.
2. He or she must be able to communicate well in English orally and in written form. Process good basic character of a good leadership and process at least a competency in his or her field of expertise.
3. Has strong compliance oversight in the area of EHS and non EHS areas. Is a good team player and able to work with different level of people. He or she must have a systematic and strategic thinking process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Directs production and ensures cost effectiveness and consistency with prescribed quality, accuracy and performance standards.
2. Maintains plant property and equipment in good condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and to ensure effective and economical operations.
3. Prepares and submits operating reports to management to inform them of the current production status and to make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Assures effective customer service and relations through timely delivery of quality product.
5. Selects, trains, develops and motivates manufacturing staff to maintain plant operation.
6. Assures compliance of all plant operations with company policy and Federal, state and local regulations.
7. Drive MBM culture in the organization to align with the corporate requirement
8. Uphold and maintain high EHS standards and drive good EHS behavior culture in the organization to achieve zero injury, zero environmental incident, and zero occupational health incident.
9. Develop good working relationship with other support capability functions, maintenance team, corporate team, and business team to achieve the plant goals.
