Duties and responsibilities:
? Oversee Chinese digital marketing, such as newsletters, social media, website and blog, search engine optimization, and online advertising.
? Advise and initiate design and content of print marketing materials, including merchandise.
? Ensure that Chinese-language messaging is on brand across all platforms.
? Manage Chinese writers and translators.
? Network effectively with potential referrers and clients.
o Attend outreach events in the community
o Join relevant professional or community groups
? Create and maintain relationships with media partners.
? Work with Marketing Department to plan and execute marketing events, trainings, and workshops.
? Occasional Chinese proofreading or translation (written and aural) required.

Employee can be assigned to a different position as business need dictates.

Minimum Requirements:

? Bachelor’s Degree
? Excellent computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
? Minimum 4 years of marketing experience in China
? Native Mandarin speaker with strong writing skills; high level of English (aural and written); other language skills (especially Korean, French and German) are desired
? First aid certificate preferred

Job specific skills:

Intermediate social media skills, especially WeChat, are required.

Experience with targeted social media (CPM) and search advertising (PPC) are strongly desired.

Experience working with local media is strongly desired.

Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator), photography, and video production skills are preferred.

Experience working in an international environment is preferred. Candidate must be enthusiastic about a multicultural working environment, both at ELG and in the community.

Previous experience working in special education or special needs-related field is beneficial.

Must have an openness to children of all abilities and desire to help others. 举报 分享

ELG is a social enterprise that provides special education, behavioral, developmental, mental health services for both the local and international communities.

Speech-language pathologist Dr. Shari D. Rosen was the first American developmental therapist based in China. When she saw the lack of resources available in Shanghai for families of children with special needs, she, husband Monte Rosen, and friend Andrew Hill came together to form ELG. ELG was launched in 2006.

ELG offers speech-language therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavior therapy, and mental health counseling by appointment. Some examples include support with learning disabilities, sleep difficulties, handwriting, mental health challenges, coordination, social skills, and much more. People can call with any issue, even if they aren’t sure what specific type of therapy or assessment they need. ELG sees over 600 clients per year across China.

ELG also offers training to parents and professionals, as well as consultation for safeguarding and crisis management.
