Position Summary:
- Under department head’s direction, plan, organize, coordinate and manage events to ensure that established goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time-limit, and budgetary provisions.
- Develop event working schedule and operation work flow to ensure the project will achieve the goals.
- Assist manager to ensure that the projects will be implemented according to the set timeline and workflow.
- Assist manager to compile project evaluation report and made follow-up recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up event contract and relevant documents.
- Assist to establish work plans and schedules for each stage of the events assigned.
- Source venue and liaise with venue provider contractors on venue set-up and management for various size of events; negotiate with venue provider to seek for a reasonable and effective cost.
- Coordinate with production house for event including design and production of stage set up, exhibits and all hardware set up; simultaneous interpretation, seating arrangement, and control of sound equipment, lighting and ventilation and all logistic arrangements.
- Keep proper records of event related documents.
- Identify and make recommendations on the program’s budgertary and operational requirements: keep effective control of the overall costs.
- Compile and prepare expenses and evaluation report of events as required.
- Assist manager to prepare the manpower plan for events assigned.
- Assist manager to coordinate rehearsal.
- Assist manager to supervise the quality of work of each working staff during events and offer assistance if needed.
- Execute before and post-event promotion if needed.
- Involve in regional events if needed.
- Industrial intelligence research if needed.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of event management and execution experience; Direct selling industry experience preferable
