Objective
Responsible for managing the day to day operations of:
EB1935 Lounge Events (corporate events, sit down dinners, cultural talks and among others)
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for scheduling of Lounge & Events operations Team.
Ensure all customers are provided with outstanding service
Ensure kitchen and bar operations are opened and closed according to policy
Responsible for ordering supplies, and inventory control and establishing relationship with suppliers ensuring the business receives competitive terms
Responsible for food hygiene, and health and safety issues
Responsible to assist in menu planning, development and meal specials
Ensure all kitchens and eating areas are organized and maintain a high level of cleanliness
Bartending, waiting and bussing tables, Light cooking and prepping
Ensure proper cash management controls are followed by all food & beverage staff members, as per policy
Ensure the Residences are properly serviced in terms of F&B especially in relation to breakfasts and in-room dinning.
Coordination of all events and happenings
Responsible for report generation on a per needs, monthly and fiscal basis (HR Report, Utilities Report, Stock Control)
Other duties as assigned by the Residences & Lounge Manager.
Reporting Structure
Will report to Residences & Lounge Manager and will have the following subordinates:
Cook
Servers
Ayi
Skills & Requirements
?English + Mandarin Required. Other languages a plus!
?More than 1 year experience in the Food and Beverage Sector. Experience in events will be a plus as well!
?Service oriented.
? Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
?Wide range of industry contacts to enable to hire good subordinates and source part-timers when needed.
?Methodical, meticulous, enthusiastic and straightforward.
?Open minded with creative, fun and innovative spirit to develop exceptional ideas!
?Yes I Can! Attitude
?Proficiency in MS Office (i.e, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
?Ability to meet multiple project deadlines and conduct general administrative tasks.

This position is based in Shanghai, 370 Bei Suzhou Road, Hongkou District. Nearest Metro Stations Tiantong Road (Line 10 & 12) and Nanjing Dong Road (Lines 10 and 2).
