H&M Group’s Global Purchasing Organization (GPO) is a global organization with teams based in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Dhaka and Istanbul. GPO's main responsibility is to secure the Best Global Buy aligned with buying & supply chain strategies. It is a fast growing organization with great career development opportunities.
As a GPO Technician, your main focus will be to receive and analyze technical requests from the Buying Office together with the Fit Responsible and support the Fit Responsible to secure equal fit and technical details for all sizes globally.

What will you do?

In this role, you will be kept busy and engaged through a wide range of tasks. Primarily you will need to:

? Keep updated on our production markets’ capabilities
? Support choosing the most suitable production market from a technical and fit perspective
? Help secure that the technical solutions are workable in the specific market
? Together with the Fit Responsible, check the fitting/workmanship/grading of the garment.
? Provide the Buying Office with comments on samples and provide the Supply Chain with feedback on samples
? Keep updated on customer/fit/concept trends

Who will you work with?

In this role you will join a dynamic and energetic team based in Shanghai. You will interact regularly with the GPO team, Pattern Makers in BO, our Technician in Supply Chain as well as your colleagues based both locally and across the Globe.
