Department
As a part of Global Supply Chain Organization, Supply Chain Centre Asia Pacific (SCC-AP), is one of the three Supply Chain Centers located in Shanghai.
SCC-AP is responsible for the sourcing and supply of Mechanical,Controls Equipment and Project Procurement sourcing in the Asia Pacific region for projects all over the world. The SCC-AP team currently has 10 team members, fulfilling all activities necessary to supply Quality products, On Time at the lowest Total Cost level.

Function
Your main target is to solve and prevent quality problems for in- and external customers. To achieve this you are able to perform product-and process analysis, audits and data analysis. You are able to define and lead improvement projects within a multidisciplinary team.You understand the importance of working with and influencing stakeholders in and outside your department and company. You are able to build a relation with suppliers and customers without losing your ability to focus on business risk and result. Your strength is to oversee the whole picture with maintaining attention for detail.
You know how to work with LEAN/SIX Sigma methods, 8D and PPAP. You are able to perform in- and external audits and assessments. Communication and interview skills are key.
The function requires drive and initiative. Key is a pro-active attitude focused on preventing problems and learning from previous mistakes.
You report to the Manager of Supply Chain Asia Pacific and function report to Quality manager in headquarter. Working with Quality Engineers work in other regions of the world and Headquarter

Tasks
1.Set up quality assurance system in Supply Chain AP for Supplier and continues improvement. Organize or participant external quality audit. Follow up the audit plans and corrective actions.
2.Supervising working of suppliers and inspectors e.g. monitoring and control of suitable process parameters and product characteristics
3.Implementing quality continuous improvement activities with supplier to develop suppliers to meet VI standard and requirement.
4.Early involvement of product development, Working together with R&D to define dimension inspection criteria e.g. equipment, method, tolerance etc.
5.Feedback to R&D and sourcing manager with optimization ideas.
6.Involve Supply Selection

Your Profile
1.Bachelor or Master in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2.Green Belt (Lean, 6sigma)
3.Auditor (or willing to follow training)
4.Customer oriented, drive to improve.
5.Excellent communication skills
6.Teamplayer
7. Analytical – able to perform statistical analysis.
8.Experience with Problem Solving methods, SPC, PPAP
9.Experience in a production environment is considered as an advantage.
10.Able to set the standard without losing your pragmatism.
