Supplier Quality Engineer (Shanghai )

Culligan International, US based, a world-leading manufacturer and service provider on water treatment for both residential and commercial markets, is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer based in Shanghai office.

 

Responsibilities:

1. General supplier quality management with goal of improving supplier ownership of quality, delivery and performance to targets.

2. Implement Culligan Tooling Management Procedure at suppliers and conduct on site audit to ensure Culligan tools properly maintained.

3. Lead supplier audit in China and Asia: Supplier qualification, Quality System and Process and sustainability audit.

4. Lead/drive resolution to root cause of supplier quality issues and effectiveness.

5. Lead qualification activities associated with new parts/tools as part of NPI, VA/VE or quality improvement projects. Advanced quality planning for new products/projects to ensure good quality.

6. Support to technical specification/requirement review to ensure proper understanding and implementation at the supplier for new projects;

7. Supplier document (SOP, SIP, Control Plan, drawings and etc.) review to meeting Culligan requirements.

8. Lead engineering change or quality requirement properly implemented at suppliers.

9. Conduct Pre-Ship Inspection as required.

    

   Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or above and major in Mechanical or Engineering is preferred.

2. 5+ years’ SQE or Quality Engineer in manufacturing companies.

3. Good understanding of the quality tools, reports, management systems. 

4. Be able to work independently and results-oriented with good ability to collaborate with others.

5. Fluent in both oral and written English.

6. Be able to travel.
