What are the responsibilities of a Manager, Market and Commercial Development, LEGO Commercial Academies?
? Collaborate with market stakeholders to agree overall annual trainings plan as well training logistics in China and APAC:
Identify training need gaps and opportunities on a market-by-market level and align with market stakeholders on the annual plan.
? Lead LEGO Retail Academy Training Delivery in China and APAC:
Take global training template and content and ensure a relevant content and training delivery at the local level in LEGO Certified Stores, LEGO Brand Retail and Merlin on both a partner and store staff level. Regions include China as top focus and APAC as secondary
? Support LEGO Sales Academy(LSA), which is targeted for employees working as Sales Professionals, Training delivery in China and APAC:.
Coordinate logistics of LSA trainings with local market stakeholders. Review global content and work with local Subject Matter Expert’s to ensure relevant in local market. Attend priority LSA trainings as a support partner.
? Pilot/rollout new tools and programs in partnership with local market:
Key examples are 1) onboarding tool for Sales Professionals, which is currently being piloted in US, but has opportunity to roll out globally, 2) Digital training trial in LEGO Retail Academy, in future to be trialed also in LSA Programs
? Other areas of importance:
Support strategic Direction and scope of LEGO Commercial Academies (LCA), with special
Expertise in China as top priority and APAC as secondary.
Collaborate with LCA Content Owners and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment to LEGO Strategy as well as tie in with relevant regional focus.
Buy-in & Approval: Work with key stakeholders (Local market, and global content owners for training courses) to ensure future training content follows the global template, but is also locally relevant and therefore answers the business challenges identified.
Track, monitor and communicate LCA Impact: Quantify Impact of LCA training on LEGO commercial activities ensuring a balance of quantitative / qualitative measures linked to Pinnacle KPIs and other such commercial KPIs as required.
Update relevant stakeholders on learning impact and future implications.
Do you have what we need?
? Experienced in larger organizations and working in global or regional/headquarter functions within a commercial environment. (5 years minimum).
? Experienced in building and training on commercial capabilities within Retail Stores as well as Sales Professionals (3 years minimum).
? Experienced in connecting different data/information and transforming these into relevant insights which inform strategy
? A candidate with strength in creating high impact presentations which tell a clear story
? Digital expertise
? Bachelor’s degree or above, MBA or Masters in related field will be preferred.
? Strong IT competencies (Outlook, PowerPoint and excel)
? International Travel Flexibility (approximately 12-16 trips per year)
? Ideally also good experience with SAP and SharePoint.
? Strong ability to translate written and verbal Mandarin in to English and vice versa.
? Role is not a typical 9 to 5 job and individual must be flexible when required to attend virtual skype meetings, beginning as early as 6 am and ending as late as 10 pm (approximately once-twice per week).
