Job Objectives:

1)Ensure fabric supplier provide good quality products

2)Ensure QMS of fabric supplier meet Printronix requirements

Job Responsibilities:

1) Perform source audits and source inspections at fabric suppliers

1. Perform source inspections on raw materials and finished ribbon products

a.Yarn Sizes and Properties (review certificates from Yarn supplier, perform independent verification)

b.Processing chemicals

c.Thickness of finished ribbon

d.Width of finished ribbon

e.Weight of finished ribbon

f.Weaving density of finished ribbon

g.pH of finished ribbon

h.Shrinkage in printing application

2. Perform source audits of fabrication processes

a.Work with suppliers to document key process steps and key process variables

i.Develop process flow charts and control plans.

ii.Identify CTQ (critical to quality) parameters

b.Monitor performance of key process variables during production

i.Beaming Process (warp yarn)

ii.Sizing process (warp yarn only)

iii.Weaving process

iv.Finishing process (Washing and framing process)

v.Fabric defect inspection (light table)

vi.Slitting process

1) Assist Supplier in line failure analysis and corrective actions

2) Manage and review quality data

3) Measure supplier quality performance to drive continuous improvement

4) Review and ensure ECO implementation

5) Coordinate with Irvine Engineering to provide technical support to Supplier

6) Liaise with Mexico Quality department for fabric quality issue

Job Qualifications:

1)3-5 years of experience in mechanical and quality engineering preferably in fabric manufacturing industries.Experience with continuous-flow chemical processes is desirable.Strong background in supplier quality, manufacturing processes, and quality system.

2) BSc in Engineering or related subjects

3) Workable English both written and oral for the purpose of networking with global quality team

4) Familiar with ISO 9000 and key quality tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, 5Why...)

5) Strong follow up to drive improvements

6) Location in Shanghai and travel to Huzhou on once a week basis
