Responsibility:
1. Leads and directs a technical group or technical program.
2. Establishes employee performance standards; works collaboratively to set goals and to address areas of deficiency.
3. Formulates strategies and aligns functional areas to achieve organizational goals.
4. Influences business-area leadership decisions.
5. Fosters the development of processes, tools and people.
6. Makes critical and authoritative decisions; resolves highly complex issues.
7. Develops and manages budget, financial controls and risk; ensures operations are executed efficiently and within established budget.
8. Works with employees to establish their individual development and career plans; mentors and coaches.
9. Assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
10. Lead and builds a strong Engineering organization in China to support business growth in China
11. Be able to effectively communicate and work well with cross tech center teams,
12. Coach and develop local team members as well as local leaders.
13. Lead key regional OEM tech shows and customer project communication.
14. Establish high safety standard and support product safety initiatives.
15. Attend Tech leader weekly staff meeting.

Experience and requirement:
Extensive relevant work experience required, including leadership of a medium-size technical group, and experience with strategy, managing, and budgets.
Minimum of 5 years technical work experience in automotive industry, filter experience preferred
? Bachelor's degree in engineering
? Strong written and oral communication skills in English
? Filter manufacture experience is preferred.
? Chinese OEM experience is preferred.
