We are looking for an Asia Logistics Coordinator for our client Oculus, a Facebook company.

Oculus is seeking a highly-motivated individual with multiple years of experience in coordinating Logistics and Trade Compliance activities within Asia. These would include but would not be limited to interacting closely with legal and trade compliance leads, overseeing import/export operations between vendors and manufacturers, supporting relationships with key freight forwarders, improving workflow, generating key analytics, and providing daily reporting to worldwide Client offices.

The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of Asia customs regulations, experience in transportation management, knowledge of Asia/China transport carrier qualifications and limitations in specified regions, and active awareness of China compliance regulations as related to the import and export of items crucial to the development of the Logistics infrastructure throughout the phases of product development.

Responsibilities:
? Assist Global Logistics Manager and Supply Chain team in the execution of logistics functions within the Oculus Supply Chain in China and Asia
? Work closely with the Product Managers and the Manufacturers in overseeing the material flow, capacity, time constraints
? Build and maintain close relationships with the Logistics Teams throughout the Supply Chain to:
o Manage all Import/Export docs and customs declarations to and from Manufacturers
o Actively assist with and support on all import and export compliance matters
o Coordinate, manage and track daily delivery arrangements
o Improve workflow, logistics network, SOPs, and KPIs; work directly with all carriers to update and manage SOPs
o Work with appointed forwarder(s) in the Handling of daily operations including order processing, shipping data entry, inventory adjustments and shipment control status with forwarder.
? Design, manage and update key metrics and logistics analytics for team evaluation, lane optimization, cost reduction

Minimum Qualifications:
? Mature, self-confident, energetic, analytical, and able to work under pressure and strict deadlines
? 5+ years relevant working experience in the Asia Logistics field within the electronics industry
? Experience with major shipping/transportation carriers
o Experience with major 3PL and 4PL provide
o Experience with airline carriers and forwarders
? Critical thinker, strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
o Ability & experience interfacing at all levels of the organization
o Ability to articulate vision and convey a sense of urgency
? Rich experience in Oracle or SAP, good at doing analysis and report.
? Advance Excel and VBA experience
? Proficient in Mandarin Chinese Mandarin and English
? Strong understanding of import, exportation processes & regulations in China
? Must be willing to travel extensively within China and Regionally
? Bachelor’s Degree required. Work experiences is more important
? Masters or MBA degree is a plus but not required.
? Working location is Shanghai.
