Job Title: VWS Project Manager

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage project according to Valeo system

1.1 Lead quotation and offer making process

1.1.1 Lead to understand customer requirement

1.1.2 Lead to define initial product/process assumption and make-or-buy plan according to inside and outside resources

1.1.3 Set project developing cost budget and profitability target

1.1.4 Set project quality and timing target

1.1.5 Organize to prepare, present CAA file(Contract Approval Authorization) and offer

1.2 Lead to launch project and realize project cost & profitability,timing, quality targets once receiving customer nomination letter

1.2.1 Set up team and organize project kick-off meeting.

1.2.2 Secure resources

1.2.3 Monitor and drive schedule

1.2.4 Monitor and reduce risks

1.2.5 Monitor project development and investment costs

1.2.6 Track and update project profitability information every month

1.2.7 Manage change

1.2.8 Validate each end of phase PVC

1.2.9 Review each phase PMC

1.3 Project closure

1.3.1 Capture lessons learn

1.3.2 Project hand-over to functional management

1.3.3 Archiving project files

2. Measuring PTM performance and give appraisement annually.

Education:

Majored in Engineering with Bachelor Degree or above.

Experience:

Having R&D or Process or PM experience.

Available means:

CAD, CATIA, Excel, Word, Project

Language:

Valeo China Technical Center in Shanghai is a competence center organization by integrating different Valeo core activities. Today 3 R&D teams work in this platforms, which are Valeo Electric Engine System China Technical Center (VEES CTC), Valeo Engine Cooling China Technical Center(VEC CTC) and Valeo Wipper System Asia Technical Center(VWS ATC).

The Technical Center is aimed to develop technical competences for Asian businesses and to satisfy our customer requirements in a fast changing environment. Developed initially as a subcontracted design platform, the Technical Center has been evolving to a complete product and project development center as following :
- Complexity increase and new needs definition such as environment and security
- OEM support for Chinese customers and for oversea businesses
- Sustainable development
- Support specific cars for emerging market in BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China)
