Responsibilities

1. To evaluate and qualify components & vendors in Asia for new and current products (including but not limited to chairs, keyboard support mechanism, monitor arm, LED lighting etc.).

2. To work with designers and overseas engineers to ensure smooth project transition from R&D to production, ensuring quality and technical compliance in the process.

3. Work with contract manufacturers to monitor and set up production/assembly lines for consistent quality output, and conduct on site audit/inspections as needed.

4. To assist troubleshooting with manufacturers to ensure compliance of products/components to engineering design, providing suggestions for design improvement if necessary.

5. Organize and lead Supplier - Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) process, including the determination of requirements and assurance of on-time completion.

6. Define and specify implementation standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating company products.

7. Evaluate and determine the internal requirements for approval of all specific Engineering change notice (ECN).

Qualifications

1. Degree holder in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality/Industrial engineering or equivalent.

2. At least 5 years technical support experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in metal stamping, aluminum die casting/extrusion and/or plastic injection.

3. Knowledge in quality system management is preferable.

4. Familiar with SolidWorks and Oracle is preferable.

5. Fluent in English & Mandarin.

6. Self motivated, can work independently and under pressure.
