Responsibilities:
? Maintain and service our customer’s equipment to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
? Represent the company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with Thermo Fisher Scientific customers, both external and internal.
? Receive customer service requests for installations, relocations, calibrations, preventive maintenance and basic repairs. Promptly acknowledge receipt of service request and contact the customer to schedule services required. Ensure that the schedule meets the customer’s needs. Seek assistance from peers when unable to meet the customer’s expectations. Communicate schedule of services on a daily basis.
? Ability to interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level and be able to work independently.
? Provide technical support to customers and distributors via phone and email.
? Flexible with work schedule to accommodate customer needs after hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
? Execute plan to help sell service contracts, parts, accessories, consumables, software, upgrades and additional training to customer base, while working towards the regional revenue goals defined by management. Manage workload and customer requirements in the territory designated by the regional manager.
? Provide documentation and reports upon completion of each assigned job.
? Provide test equipment training to customers and field engineers.
? Assist manufacturing with test and quality issues.
? Act as a Thermo Fisher Scientific advocate in all capacities in customer laboratories. Effectively communicate competitive information and additional sales opportunities to Sales Engineers. Provide feedback to factory personnel for product improvements.
? Develop training material.
? Write technical bulletins.
? Maintain personal Field Service inventory of replacement parts. Returns defective material in a timely manner, and order replacements in accordance with company policy.






Minimum Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or Associates degree in engineering or Technical Electrical/Electronics/Computer experience, or 3 years of industrial/field service experience
? Strong technical background with the ability to read and understand electronic schematics and trouble-shoot electronic circuits to the component level
? Experience working directly with customers to resolve technical problems
? Competent in the use of computers for handling email, producing report documents and documenting field problems
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to work autonomously
? Passport eligibility and willingness to travel internationally
? Valid driver’s license
? Exceptional organizational and time management skills
? Strong attention to detail
? 70% travel
? Fluent in English, both written and spoken
? Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken
