General Purpose:

 Responsible for purchasing & Planning for Shape Asia aftermarket, and other purchasing activity.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to create purchase order in AX ERP system for needed materials, and send to supplier, and follow the order/delivery process to meet on time delivery requirements in Asia region.
2. Analyze demand and adjust safety stock quantities to maintain on time delivery.
3. Communication with suppliers about some quality issue on their supplied parts
4. Responsible for judging supplier performance (Technology, Quality, Delivery, Reliability, Cost)
5. Recognize and escalate issues to resolve both short and long term potential supply problems.
6. Project management


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
2. Demonstrated business and contract negotiation skills.
3. High level of analytical ability where problems are complex.
4. Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
5. Ability to work independently on projects and function effectively in a team environment.
6. Goal-oriented and a demonstrated ability to continually prioritize tasks with sensitivity to deadlines.


Working Background and Experience:

1. Over 2 years working experience on purchasing.
2. Fluent oral and written English
