Job Description:

• To provide costing and quotation services
• To support Sales / Account Management / Program Management to win business
• Execute RFQ activities like BOM definition and construction, drawing files transfer, sheet metal quote, tooling quote, purchase item quote and logistic / hobbling cost compilation
• Lead the sourcing and engineering team to ensure and meet quotation time line
• Evaluate, define and construct Bill of Materials (BOM) from Request For Quote (RFQ) package
• Data and cost computation into Bill of Material (BOM)
• Study drawings to note critical processes and specification
• To work with engineering team on Design For Manufacturing proposal
• To provide best cost solution and proposal based on different manufacturing methodology with reference to product volume, life and specification
• To provide best cost solution based on supply chain effectiveness, feasibility, capability and capacity
• To compile and publish Quotation activities to management
• Mark-up and pricing discussion with Sales / Account Management / Program Management
• To work and follow up with Sales / Account Management / Program Management on the quote status and closure
• Cost and quotation analysis

Requirements:

• Good management skill with leadership qualities
• Independent, committed, responsible and positive working attitude
• Customer focus
• Able to work irregular or extended hours and travel due to job and business nature
• Good communication skill especially good command of spoken and written English
• Degree / Diploma in engineering (preferably mechanical engineering)
• More than 3 years working experience preferably in the sheet metal stamping / enclosure assembly business
• Good teamwork and inter-personnel skill
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good organization, planning and control skills
