JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be a member of the software development team involved in the development of Mobile, VoIP, legacy network diagnostic and active test applications. Responsibilities will potentially involve wide areas of software development within the product. Duties include:
？ Research specification and requirement analysis
？ Document an object-oriented design
？ Develop software to implement the design
？ Perform software unit test
？ Work with test organization and other developers to support test and maintenance activities throughout the product lifecycle
？ Drive key project design decisions, coordinate integration activities, mentor junior developers, and effectively work with both product engineering and product verification staff in developing new features and communicating their designs and operations

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
· BSCS, BSEE or an equivalent degree
· Technical requirements -
Must haves:
？ 5+ years C/C++ experience
？ 5+ years software design experience in telecom domain
？ Strong understanding in one or more network architectures:
ü IMS experience (e.g. SIP and RTP)
ü VoIP (SBC, MGW) experience (e.g. SIP and MGCP)
？ Real-time OS experience
？ Good to average verbal and written English skills
Very nice to haves:
？ 3G (e.g. Circuit Switch and Packet Switched Networks) experience (e.g. Iu-CS, Iu-PS)
？ PSTN experience (e.g. Q.931, TCAP, ISUP)
？ Voice Quality vs PESQ/POLQA experience
？ Agile development experience
？ Protocol stack development experience
？ Test and network equipment experience
？ Linux/Unix experience
？ MFC experience
？ Client/server architecture experience
？ Cygwin/GNU compiler experience
？ Embedded device experience
？ Application and memory profiler experience
Nice to haves:
？ Windows7 device driver experience
？ Speech Recognition
？ Subversion experience (source code repository tool)
？ Code Collaborator experience (code review tool)

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
· Ability to work independently and methodically towards completion of work goals
· Possess the desire and intent to understand broad areas of the system software, rather than focus on a specific feature
· Able to travel domestically and internationally
