We have a current opportunity for a HR Specialist to join our team based in Covance's Beijing office. Supporting the Global HR Shared Services model as well as local procesess in Human Resources and working with the fantactic team across Asia, Europe and US, you will be a vibrant, self-motivated, process driven self-starter, possessing proven ability to deliver in a fast paced, high volume environment. Acting as the interface between line managers, employees and HR Partners with straightforward HRqueries, assisting employees and managers on onbarding and offboarding as well as HR processes & policies.

The ideal candidate will have HR experience in a multinational, corporate environment, be people focused, professional and friendly, team-player possessing great attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality; these are a must for this exciting new role. We are looking for candidates who are intersted in regional and global exposure to HR procesess and want to progress their career within the HR Shared Services model, whilst also having the ability to tackle everyday tasks such as filing with enthusiasm! To fit into this great team you will need to have a great team spirit, whilst remaining professional and enjoy working with and supporting those around you.

About the job:
? Coordinate and administer the onboarding and offboarding process for China, Beijing site as well as other APAC locations
? Ensure all Employee Working documents: paper-based and electronic employee records are accurate and filed on a regular basis and in accordance to the local laws and established filing protocol
? Liaise with othe HR Centers of Excellence, like Reward and Benefits, HR Technology etc. within HR
? Work with contract renewals and HR reporting to meet deadlines;
? Ovelook medical insurance process for Bejing employees;
? Act as key point of contact for employees and managers HR Questions;
? Work as part of Employee Engagement initative;
? Member of global HR Shared Services team with international reporting line, expected to partner locally with respective HR Partner.
? Perform other duties as assigned

About you:
? HR experience in a multinational, corporate environment (min. 3 years)
? HR Shared Services experience will be an advantage
? Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel and Powerpoint
? Knowledge of HR systems (PeopleSoft HR, ATS - Applicant Tracking System, LMS - Learning Management System, etc.)
? Ability to work in a confidential, professional manner, independntly and with international reporting line
? Flexible, adaptable, open-minded, willing to learn with ability to use initiative
? Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail
? Customer focused with good communication skills
? Team player
? Excellent English, both written and oral
