Job Title: IT Service Desk Analyst

Reports To: IT Manager

Location: Shanghai Office

The IT Service Desk Analyst’s (infrastructure and device management) role is to ensure the service stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and resolving incidents and requests from end users. This individual will also support and provide guidance to the other IT engineers and end users.

Overview of Responsibilities:
The IT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for the following areas:

System & Servers
？ Work with IT Manager to define system requirements and goals, identify and resolve system issues and risks.
？ Collaborate with group IT engineers to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
？ Perform server and data security audits, data backups and recovery processes in accordance with the business continuity strategies.
？ Create and maintain documentations as it relates to system configuration, process and operations records.
？ Monitor and test system performance and capacity, provide system statistics and reports.

Applications and Platforms
The IT Service Desk Analyst is required to have a basic level experience for the following:
？ VMware, Windows servers, Linux, AD, Exchange, Casper, Sharepoint, Symantec BE, BESR, mail gateway and antivirus, MAC OS X and IOS, Windows OS.

Client Support
？ Utilize and maintain the helpdesk ticketing system.
？ Provide 1st and 2nd system level support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
？ Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to the requests from helpdesk.


Asset management
？ Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.
？ Keep track of all IT equipment.

Others
？ Adhere to company policies and protocols.
？ Other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the IT Director.


Skills and Experience Required:

？ Must have a minimum of 2 years IT operations management experience including experience on Microsoft platform and/or Mac OS platform server environments.
？ 3 years network and system management experience.
？ Must be able to read, analyze and interpret hardware and systems management technical manuals and procedures.
？ Strong personal skills to communicate directly with end users.
？ Strong written and verbal English.
？ Strong initiative, integrity and good judgment.
？ Fast problem solving skills in new situations.
？ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
