Job Position: Knowledge and Business Strategy Manager
Reports to: Knowledge and Business Strategy Director
1. Position Summary
> To assist Knowledge And Business Services (KNABS) director to lead the team providing data insights and campaign planning services to Wunderman clients in China
2. Key Objectives of Role
> Establish a service offering, introducing an Applied Insights Practice to identify key sales and profit opportunities for clients
> Drive the strategic business planning process in customer acquisition and retention, understanding and using all key data sources
> Leverage and contribute to developing and introducing Wunderman Standard Metrics for Automotive, networking with other Wunderman practice leads
> Grow and motivate a team of Data Analysts/Database Analyst/Data Executive/Dealer Officer, size of 10
3. Day to Day Responsibilities
> Work with account team in development of data driven communications programmes
> Understand clients' business issues and drive strategy across all channels and touchpoints
> Build relationships with management and staff (internal & external) in business areas associated with data planning & CRM performance work
> Manage client expectations and promote planning/analysis & research functions to clients
> Manage and resolve the key data strategy issues involving quality, consistency and growth across customer and prospecting databases
> Develop the skills and knowledge within other members of the KNABS department
> Interrogate syndicated research material to provide answers to briefs issued by senior planners or the account team
> Ensure associated operational areas perform within agreed service level agreement & deliveries meets timely and quality requirements
> Regular client communication; resolve client issues where they occur
4. Mandatory Requirements
> Profound Understanding of the use of data-driven strategies to meet clients' objectives
> Profound understanding of customer relationship management, marketing
> Knowledge of cost justification procedures
> Ability to co-ordinate multiple projects; Planning and goal setting
> Excellent problem solving skills
> Excellent presentation skills - written and oral communication (Mandarine and English)
> Good inter-personal communication skills. Coaching and teaching skills
> Proven ability to build close client relationships
> Strategic thinker - able to go beyond client's brief to provide holistic thinking to problems
> Proven track record in delighting clients by means of impeccable project management
> Team leading & managing skills
5. Personality
> Assertive, outgoing, confident
> Keen to contribute to a fun environment for team to work in
> Ability to adapt to constantly changing challenges
> Seeks continuously to improve the work of their team
> Tactful and flexible in dealing with different cultures (geographical and corporate)

6. Qualifications
> Graduate, preferably with a Marketing, Intelligence or Business Degree, oversea study or work experience is a plus
> Proven track record of delivering insight driven strategy. Strategic consulting skills. Campaign management.
> Experienced at both qualitative and quantitative research programs within a commercial environment.
> 5+ years planning and research experience in a marketing or consulting environment
> Automotive experience is an high advantage but not a necessity
> 1+ years team management experience
