Responsibilities:

Product Inspections and Follow-up

· Hold PP meeting at the factory to give clear inspection standard for sampling and bulk production

· Conduct in-line and finished product inspection for all kinds of furniture (solid wood, panels, metal, acrylic) and store fixtures and cabinets. Able to make the checklist to coordinate the relative inspection.

· Inspect materials, accessories, parts, components and products for color, measurements, labels and overall quality

· Make judgment on acceptance and rejection of marginal quality cases by understanding each project / brand and the acceptable limits for each

· Prepare, consolidate, update and file audit reports and communicate with factory and quality team at 9 Kings

· Provide technical advice to factories to solve production and quality problems

· Specify timeframe for factories to implement improvements and follow-up to assure implemented

· Conduct 100% final inspection based on approved PP sample / standard

· Provide inspection report to shipping team for final release.

Sample Inspection

· Inspect samples for adherence to spec / drawing and requested materials

· Make suggestions and improvements were needed

Production Control

· Communicate customers' quality requirements to factories and enforce at all times. Using reference samples and technical details at all times

· Provide advice / make judgment of proper equipment and materials available for our quality product

· Confirm production materials match standards and pass testing prior to being put into production

· Anticipate quality issues that may arise in the manufacturing process

· Identify and provide solutions on production and manufacturing problems that might have impact on delivery and / or product quality

· Help with material utilization and sorting. Represent brand on material disputes and tolerance setting

Factory Evaluation

· For new factory or new sub-contractor, need to go to evaluation the factory's equipment and capability to handle our order and give report and comments to the manager.

Requirements:

· Provide inspection report to shipping team for final release

· 5 years above in Quality Assurance and Quality Control area of furniture / cabinetry products

· Recognize the importance of meeting quality standards to meet business objectives and brand requirements

· A team player who can give full effort to meeting brand's quality standard and knows how to coordinate with merchandising and factory teams

· Listen to others and is receptive to alternative approaches to accomplish company goal

· Open to ask questions to obtain needed information and flexible to coordinate among relevant parties to resolve -problem issues

· Refer problems that cannot be addressed to the appropriate resources in a timely manner

· Recognize importance of business relationships and how they influence outcomes

· Good time management skills to allow sufficient time to complete tasks to meet assigned deadlines

· Good energy level to adapt to travel mobility
