职位描述

Responsibilities:


  • Field services requests from APAC employees and provide technical support through emails, phone calls and walkups.
  • Provide on-call mobile phone support after normal work hours as required.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, software (OS and applications), hardware and network issues; set up computer equipment for new hires.
  • Diagnose Windows XP/Vista/Win7/Win2003/Win2008 & Office 2003/2007/2010 issues.
  • Diagnose and fix software and hardware problems with all Apple products: MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iPhones.
  • Configure cisco routers and switches.
  • Ensure computer safety, including spyware/malware removal, virus scans, and firewall configuration.
  • Track and maintain computer assets, order & maintain inventory of helpdesk supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain and revise support policies and procedure documents using MS Office and Visio.
  • Create and revise knowledgebase documents
  • Active Directory account administration
  • Assist users with remote access through VPN and Webmail and dialup/high speed broadband.
  • Ensure that all ticket communication and follow up is done in a timely manner based on established service-level agreements (SLA) and service-level objectives (SLO).
  • Maintain and operate WAN connection with Corporate office.
  • Integrate new and upgraded software and hardware.
  • Install/upgrade operating systems and application software.

Requirements:


· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant subject

  • 3-5 years experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration; previous help desk preferred
  • Proven experience with Windows XP and Vista operating system, VPN, LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS with extensive experience in Windows Server 2003
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English;
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive problem solving, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to travel to office locations outside of China;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and tickets at the same time.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Great organizational skills and stress tolerant
  • Adventnet ServiceDesk, PeopleSoft skills, UNIX experience and MCSE certification a plus
  • Solid knowledge for Microsoft OS and Office, OSX and Linux is a plus.
  • VmWare and virtualizing software skills is a plus.
  • MS and Cisco certification is a plus
