The purpose of the job or role:
This position is a SAP XI/PI Engineer role in the Tech Management Integration Team. Main focus of this job is to provide Technical Expertise within a team having primary responsibility for team applications including SAP Process Integration, Delivery Vehicles. This role will provide technically focused project and support expertise to a global partner base, responsible for developing, configuring and supporting Integration solutions using SAP PI; and provide SAP related technical services and support to all the other work process Teams, support activities focused on maintaining and improving the reliability, availability and performance for the SAP PI integration applications and related infrastructure as part of the Next Enterprise Application (NEA) platform.

What is Integration Team?
The Integration team in the IT center has an opportunity to work with all Dow work processes to gain a broad understanding of Dow. With Dow's asset light strategy to pursue joint ventures, the work of this team has become increasingly important to ensure Dow's management systems are fully integrated with the necessary joint venture systems.

This job exists within the Information Systems Project & Support Center (PSC) and the SAP XI/PI Engineer would be fulfilling their job responsibilities in combination with other team members and SME's from within Dow.

Primary Responsibilities:
? Provide overall technical expertise across global teams for requirements fulfillment.
? Responsible for ensuring that technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow I/T architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term cost of ownership
? Ensures technical integration across teams and assist with issue resolution
? Understand and assist with implementation of long-term product/system vision for I/T
? Develop, configuring and supporting Integration solutions using SAP PI, provide SAP related technical services and support to all the other work process Teams.
