About You
Are you interested in being a part of an Enterprise IT environment? Are you familiar with working with processes like ITIL, and would like to work with project management with cross-functional mind-set and be a key resource in projects? Then this might be the right chance for you! We are looking for a new team member who act with the core business in mind and enjoy sharing knowledge and experiences with others.
You always strive to learn something new and never settle, you have characteristics of being organized and enjoy working in a high paced, dynamic environment. You have a technical background, and knowledge from working with fundamental infrastructure like enterprise storage and backup solutions.
We believe your personality is important. Therefore we believe that you are a strongly driven person with a proactive approach who like to work together with others and use your communication skills to be able to co-operate in the best way.
Your analytical skills will be put to the test as the position requires you to being able to structure information and derive conclusions and consequences. You have an effective delivery focused mind-set with a mix of patience and persistence. Since you will be working in an international environment you must be fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
Is this your next challenge?
To be successful in this role, it´s desirable if you have experience from working in the area of enterprise backup. We believe that you have experience from supporting backup systems and disk based backup storage (NAS, VTL) and from supporting a distributed Enterprise IT environment.
It is preferable if you have knowledge from one or more of the following:
? Backup Exec and or TSM experience
? DELL EMC Data Domain experience
? Knowledge of UNIX and or Powershell scripting.
? Enterprise Storage solution preferably experience with HP Storage, EMC Storage
? Enterprise SAN solutions (Brocade)
About the assignment
You will be part of a global storage & backup team located in Philadelphia, Sweden and Shanghai. As System Specialist you will be working together with a group of creative and driven individuals with a strong sense of togetherness and responsibility, who sees obstacles as “solutions waiting to be found”. With high focus on quality we take pride in what we deliver, and we have fun while we do it!
Initially, you will focus on operational support for our central and distributed backup environment. Typical working areas will be to support projects, maintain documentation, test, tune and monitor the components in the distributed and central backup and recovery environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position to be filled as soon as possible.
