Position Qualifications:

? Education level: Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
? PC literate in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
? Fluent in English and Chinese language
? Experience is a plus in purchasing, international trading and shipping
? Good knowledge of business systems (MRP, ERP, Min/Max planning).

Key Duties:

? Send PO’s to suppliers in Asia and obtain production/ ship schedule that meets FFR-DSI requirements.
? Monitor production schedule to ensure timely delivery and notify buyer of any adjustments.
? Prepare payment request for Asian suppliers and track until wire transfer is complete.
? Work with sourcing agents to troubleshoot problems with production. (e.g. MOQ issue, new item sample approval; defective PO claiming).
? Monitor shipment arrangement
? Manage supplier shipment consolidation in order to minimize freight expenses and confirm the actual expenses associated with this process
? Work with Quality Assurance to coordinate inspection, monitor quality issues that affect production and claim expenses for defective product and other charges.
? Other duties as assigned.
