职位描述
The purpose of the role
- why it exists:
1. The BPSC Transactional Purchasing Representative serves as the direct interface between the Purchasing Specialists / Commercial Purchasing, internal clients, the Procurement work process, the transactional systems, procurement strategies and the suppliers
2. Support the Puchasing data subject during SAP system migration
Primary Responsibilities:
? Lead the day-to-day procurement activities for the team (purchasing and payables)
? Adhere to business rules, operating guidelines, work processes and supply strategies.
? Identify, analyze and resolve supply and transactional procurement issues. Coordinate with Purchasing Commercial, Payables, suppliers and internal partners to maintain day-to-day procurement activities.
? Guide and assist internal partners. Be the knowledgeable focal point for supplier and internal partner transactional procurement issues.
? Contribute to work process improvements. Coordinate business rule / operating procedure changes.
? Follow-up/escalate Quality Messages in CAMP/QMS system pertaining to quality non-conformance issues. Work closely with QA, supplier and purchasing supply manager to ensure that all quality issues are resolved and proper actions are taken.
? Participate in Six-Sigma, Task Force Project and any other tasks as assigned.
? Support the team activity during the SAP new system migration

Critical Success Factors:
? Good understanding of the overall procurement work process, procedures and business rules.
? Good team player and troubleshooter.
? Proficient in SAP purchasing transactions and PSMS procurement system.
? Good understanding of the requirements for ISO/QS9000 certification for the businesses.
? Excellent communication skills in both oral and written forms.
? Excellent customer service skills.
? Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional team members, business partners and suppliers.
? Be able to work under pressure and take independent action
Knowledge:
? Preferably working knowledge of purchasing systems, accounting systems.
? Excellent computer skills are critical
? Good team cooperate
? Pre-active of project management
Education / Experience:
? Bachelor Degree, Purchasing experience and prior SAP/PSMS knowledge are advantageous
? Language requirement: Fluency in English and Mandarin
? Fluency in 3rd language is desirable (e.g. Japanese, Korea, Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia)
? Proficiency in Microsoft software
