As an Event Manager you will:
-Research industries in order to identify hot topics and opportunities for events;
-Liaising with the most relevant individuals (C-level executives and practitioners working at the heart of their industries) to take part in luncheons/roundtables and private meetings on hot topics;
-Responsible for the production of events from conception through to completion
-Liaising with Sales and Business Development colleagues to promote the event;
-Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, speakers, staffing and budgets
-Managing all events delivery elements within time limits
-Liaising with our teams in the NY, London and HK office to develop a global product
-Developing relationships with third party distribution partners in order to promote the event beyond our client base
A successful candidate will have:
-Hands-on and often involves working as part of a team
-Able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to manage multiple projects independently
-Proven event management experience (not mandatory)
Qualifications:
-Fluent in spoken and written English
-Bachelor degree or above
-Event, Reporter or Marketing Experience is preferred
-Strong communication skill to interact with senior individuals
Travel: Occasional travels to Beijing and Hong Kong.
