Responsibilities:
- check all samples(size set, photo, pre production) regrading measurements, workmanship and fitting
- check reports given by our foreign customers and explain to our suppliers
- find and suggest alternatives to difficult workmanship in order to reach best quality
- find solutions to solve problems during sampling stage to ensure bulkproduction

- conduct risk management on all samples in initial stage
- write checking reports in English
Requirement:

- At least 1 years related working experiences
- good in both written & reading English
- ideally graduated with a diploma in fashon related disciplines, like bachelor in clothing teachnology textile engineering
- good production knowledge & know-how on size spec. and grading rule
- able to work indepandently but also in team
- able to identify problems and propose solutions
- work experience in foreign companies as an technician or QA will be an advantage

Herma is the HKG based Far East sourcing company of the Swiss mid-market department store Manor AG, which belongs to the Geneva based Maus Frere Group. Maus Frere also owns the 3 international brands La Coste, GANT and Aigle, as well as the Swiss sports chain Athleticum and the Swiss licensee of the home chain FLY.

Apart from sourcing for Manor and its sister companies Herma also services various other reputable European retailers such like Galleries Lafayette, V&D, Breuninger, de Bijenkorf, Sport 2000, Intersport, and many more. And although our specialty is to assist retailers with the development and sourcing of their private label and own brands, we also work for international brands like Chevignon.

Fashion products and accessories are the main category (75%). That includes casual and formal clothes for Men, Women, Kids and Babies. We also source important volumes in fashion accessories, jewelry, lingerie and technical sportswear. At the same time we are actively pursuing the option to grow the HOME category (living, kitchen, bathroom, garden) for our clients, while maintaining our important stakes in the stationary, sports gear and toys categories.

Our total-turnover is above $150 M US$. We have 130 associates that are enthusiastically supporting and servicing our clients at Herma offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Bangkok and Dhaka. Our supplier network reaches across total Asia.
