Main Activities :

This job is part of the Operational Excellence initiative. As the group has set high priorities on Operational Excellence and cash generation, it is critical to make sure manufacturing asset reliability reinforcing world class manufacturing best practices across the organization.
The job is part of the industrial function with a double reporting, operational to the AP industrial director and functional to the worldwide manufacturing organization (Manufacturing Director)

? Deploy down WCM best practices in associating with WCM tools, WCM indicators in line with the enterprises' priorities to enhance plant performances as well as improve level of WCM best practices in production and maintenance process.
? Enhance the knowledge of employees in the manufacturing area cascading down WCM knowledge and corporate's step change initiatives
? Develop analyses of organization of production (autonomous units, skill set at all levels, etc.)
? Participate in the overall WCM Worldwide initiative as a member of the WCM network so as to encourage internal and external manufacturing benchmarking among WCM family
? Lead and follow up the deployment of OEE / MDC initiative in the zone to increase plant productivity, optimize asset utilization and ensure plant capacity meets business demands. Ensure proper reporting on eroom dashboards
? Lead the deployment of Reliability step change initiative in the zone to increase plant equipment reliability and ensure plant capacity meet business demands
? Lead the Maintenance network and reinforce the equipment care implementation through shop-floor level participation to ensure optimization of maintenance expenses and maximized the utilization of equipment .
? Ensure that AP plants have a solid ground for Basic of change in the manufacturing sites ( 5s) to ensure a solid foundation in the organization has been built
? Support the development of Inventory Step change / Participate in Inventory step change initiatives



Profile :

? Chemical engineering or Industrial Engineering background
? More 10 years' rich experiences of plant, operation and supply chain management;
? Familiar with World Class Manufacturing methods in a capital intensive activity.
? Excellent consultancy and teaching experiences
? Willing to spend most of his time in the plants
? Able to challenge and motivate people at all levels of the organization
? Able to understand the key value drivers of the enterprises, in order to integrate WCM in their strategy
? Strong communication skills
? Strong customer orientation
? Good command of spoken & written English and at least one major language of the zone (preferably Chinese)
