1. Must possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Industrial or Business Management
2. Responsible for optimizing the administration of logistics management functions for both raw materials & finished products, often including multiple job functions
3. Responsible for transportation, distribution, customs and duties
4. Responsible trade compliance for the location
5. Manages the scheduling and release of production orders and directs the activities of a team of employees in their respective logistics and materials management functions
6. Coordinates the requisitioning of purchased parts and maintains effective inventory control records
7. Plans and directs the setting up of work orders for assembly and required materials to fill order requirements
8. Directs all warehouse activities including receiving, storage and shipping of component parts, raw materials and finished goods
9. Authorizes schedule adjustments as necessary to meet special order requirements
10. Controls movement and storage of raw material components, parts in process and finished goods
11. Coordinates yearly physical inventory
12. Has a strong customer orientation
13. Other duties which include but are not limited to: development of product forecasts, resolution of scheduling conflicts between shop and customer service, meet or surpass annual inventory goals, assist in determining obsolete and slow moving stock and other duties as assigned

1. Must be fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese with 7+ years' work experience in a manufacturing environment with logistics, planning, inventory control and ERP experience. Must possess an engineering, technical or business management degree. Experience should also include pull system exposure and understanding, warehousing, transportation & distribution, lean manufacturing, customs & duties and trade compliance. Oracle ERP experience is a plus
2. Responsible for all or most of the following: inventory control, warehousing, transportation & distribution, production planning, scheduling and customs & duties, etc. May also have involvement with procurement and customer services
3. Logistics experience - shipping and trade compliance
4. Purchasing experience in a high volume, MTO operation
5. Years of Experience: 7 to 10
6. Must be proficient in all MS Office products with experiencewith ERP systems - Oracle or equivalent
