Competences Required

1. Bachelor degree Preferred Major in Mechanical and electrical engineering

2. At least 5 years sourcing experience with electrical and/or machine/fabricated components；Wind industry experience preferred

3. Willing to travel frequently

4. Familiar with Microsoft office software. Knowledge of Qlikview software a plus

5. Can handle task independently and must have experience negotiating supplier contracts

6. Experience establishing and maintaining a supplier panel for the assigned category

Responsibilities

- Implement and lead assigned category strategy and strategic sourcing of spend area

- Collaborate and work closely with sales, R&D, and operations to ensure product quality, on time delivery, and best value purchasing within category

- Identify new suppliers in any market location and work with Supplier Quality team to qualify new suppliers

- Send RFQ to supplier and negotiate with supplier for best deal. Maintain prices in ERP system.

- Monitor the supplier performance and develop/manage improvement and cost out plans with suppliers.

- Study Supply-Demand of responsible category spend and manage supplier agreements accordingly.

- Develop detailed knowledge of category components that will enable Cost Breakdown Analysis with suppliers to secure lowest cost

- Supplier relationship management. Work with supplier for any cost deduction and payment term improvement.

- Establish category targets in collaboration with the Global Sourcing Manager

- Support other category managers and business units for sourcing tasks.

- Cooperation with other companies within the group to leverage buys with global spend
