Job Description

- Produce and layout original and usable concepts and art directions in response to creative briefs
- Developing the visual approaches for marketing proposals to potential clients in a clear, professional, and persuasive manner
- Work with Account Teams to understand the clients’ brands, ensure effective communication and management of teams’ expectations, and manage projects in a way that will support maximum delivery of the brand
- Take leadership of the design team for planning, creative brainstorming sessions and performance review meetings
- Review existing design processes, create and implement better structure and workflow, to maximize both efficiency and creative output among the team
- Communicate any issues or concerns for the design team and work with Head of Creative to implement new ways to develop the team
- Support the onboarding of new designers and interns, for training of our working flow and the overall design team processes

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years professional graphic design experience and 1 year team management experience
- Experience in a creative, digital and or advertising agency environment, strong knowledge of digital media and social marketing, fully understand how to evolve an initial concept and able to execute it throughout all social media platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Rich imagination, artistically, enough understanding for design requirement as well as good sense of arts and individual portfolios, great attention to detail, able to complete assignments with tight deadlines
- High Level skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and basic understanding development software (Flash, Dreamweaver) is a plus
- Great team player, passionate about developing themselves and others
- Must be firm, confident, optimistic, open-minded, entrepreneurial, and innovative
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English are required
