PURPOSE OF JOB
Technical sales for high end multinational Datacom accounts, leverage Molex resource and capability in demand creation in the most high-end Datacom new project and applications, create opportunity, drive growth for Molex and work with fulfilment sales teams to land the business. The role covers the accounts located in East China region.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
? Responsible for both front end design and project NPI with fulfilment sales team, reach the project pipeline, design-in conversion target, ensure the sustainable growth in accordance with Molex strategy.
? Build the strong and credible relationship with customer R&D and sourcing team.
? New business development by participating in designs-in at assigned customers, and raise PDRs for new products required where applicable, follow-up and closure.
? Prepare monthly and weekly sales reports with high accuracy and list out detail information in opportunities.
? Drive Product Managers and FAE to identify the potential business in assigned accounts.
? Identify and analyse competitor trends and behaviours from the assigned customers in order to provide product manager an adequate information in returning appropriate product and pricing to fulfil the customer needs.
? Identify and deliver the senior level seminar to customer.
? Have the overview on account business strategy and development.
EDUCATION:
? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
? Over 5 years working experience in Telecom/Datacom industry, relevant experience in one or more of the following areas/products will be preferred:
o Router/Switch/Server/Storage/Wireless network/Core network/Transmission;
o Project Management/Account management/Hardware design Project management, FAE background is a plus.
? Proven growing accountability and success in account management.
? Experience within the technical services or engineering industry.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
? Fluent English writing and speaking
? Strong technical background in Datacomm industry.
? Business sense and project management skills.
? Willing to take high work pressure;
? Strong accountability.
? Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload
? Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers & external contacts to respond positively to situations.
? Communication and presentation skills.
