职位描述：

JOB SUMMARY

The position will be responsible for developing capable supply base to ensure continuity of supply of right products (mainly finished bearings) to support PEER T2 and GBC T2 business development. This includes developing commodity strategy to support fast business growth direction, fostering sound relationship with critical suppliers to improve supply flexibility and optimizing supply chain design to mitigate supply shortage risk. Also responsible for sourcing and re-sourcing to locate the best in class suppliers who not only meet current expectations but also help on product innovation and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand business imperatives and develop commodity strategy to support business growth plan.

Take overall responsibility including Supplier Selection/Development, Quality, competitive total cost based on T2 strategies and measured by defined metrics.

Promote to Sales of T2 Value Offers re Professional Procurement and QA, Assembled Component Offer and Value for Money Applications.

Drive incumbent supplier performance and benchmarking supplier capability through exploring entire China supply market.

Manage supplier relationship to improve supply flexibility, new product quotation turn-around time and reduce lead time through consignment program or VMI initiatives.

Lead supplier quarterly business review to continuously improve supplier performance defined by supplier scorecard.

Analyze supply market commodity architecture and forecast material cost trend.

Manage all commercial aspects with suppliers, lead and/or support negotiations and setting up of contracts.

Ensure to maintain and reinforce the “Can Do” spirit and entrepreneurship.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Bachelor degree in supply chain or business management; mechanical, CPM qualification is a plus

Demonstrate strategic thinking approach and service excellence attitude

Demonstrate strong business sense and systematic thinking approach

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Understanding of basic financial/accounting practices

Strong negotiation skills; able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills

Proactive thinking, people oriented, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

Must be able to travel 50% - 70% of the time both domestically and internationally

Proficient in both English and Chinese

Minimum 8 years relevant working experience
