Assignments：
We are looking for a Purchaser at IKEA IMS for the newly established purchase category Construction, which includes products and services required for rebuilding existing IKEA units from a commercial but also from a construction perspective.
As a Purchaser your role is to support stakeholders within IKEA China but also IKEA Asia Pacific with the purchase of products and services related to construction, in order to secure a professional purchase and best buy for IKEA.
In this role you will be responsible to secure that suppliers comply with all IKEA requirements on quality, sustainability and legal. This means you will have the responsibility for leading purchase projects for reinvestments and rebuilds from the very start to the final agreements and to control, organize, conduct and document the purchase activities.
Within the responsibility of the role will be to ensure that applicable and relevant working methods, purchase processes, rules and guidelines are followed. Furthermore you will be responsible for negotiations of contracts and support the change order process. You will also secure legal compliance, contract structure and content.
You will be part of a team that consists of Purchasers, Technicians, Business Analysts, and Business Administrators and you will report to Country Purchase Manager. With this position you will also be part of a global construction procurement matrix. You will contribute and share experiences with other construction purchasers as well as other colleagues within IKEA IMS.
This position is placed at IKEA Service Office in Shanghai.

Essentials：
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience from purchasing and a university degree within Business or Engineering, or corresponding knowledge. You have at least 5 years of experience from the construction industry, either from the purchase or the business side.
You have strong purchasing and analytical skills, with a good understanding of procurement processes and legal knowledge. You have excellent negotiation skills and you know how to work with cost drivers.
As a person you are service minded and able to create good relations, as well as plan your time well. To look for new possibilities and improve ways of working comes naturally to you.
Besides Mandarin, you are fluent in English, both written and verbal. You are used to working in Excel and preferably also have experiences from procurement tools.
