Responsibility:
1. Ensure that the following occur, personally or through delegation to individual PMs.
2. Define Project Goals (financial, scheduling, and quality goals)
3. Select project core team members in conjuction with line management
4. Establish adequate project organization (meeting structure, information/knowledge exchange, documentations, archiving)
5. Setup an initial project plan in accordance with the BU processes (phases, deliverables, milestones/Q-gates, etc.)
6. Ensure compliance to the BU processes.
7. Track the project progress, define corrective measures if deviating from the plan
8. Control released project budget and project resources per approved project plan
9. Report the project status, unsing the appropriate tools and processes
10. Install and perform professsional change management
11. Perform risk assessment, control and steer the implementation of risk measures
12. Provide first level of escalation to Project Mangement topics both internally and at customer.
13. Representation of project in customer meetings and negotiations
14. Representation of project interests in supplier meetings and negotiations
15. Based on professional, well documented change management negotiate changes and claims with thec ustomer and with suppliers
16. Actively manage stakeholder expectations, inform and involve stakeholders on a regular basis in an appropriate manner
17. Assign work packages to project team members
18. Help build up a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project.
19. Provide direction to ensure best in class project management is provided.
20. Consolidate issues from projects across the portfolio of projects and ensure a common strategy is followed across projects with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Requirement:
1. At a miminum the Head of PM must have 5 or more years of experience leading a Medium or Large project through a significant portion of its lifecycle. This must include clear responsibility for customer interfacing, financial management and negotiation, team leadership, launch of manufacturing and quality issue resolution.
2. The Head of PM must have 5+ years experience in one of the following engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software). He must have participated in the development or manufacturing of electronics
3. The Head of PM must have 3+ years experience in direct supervision of professional technical employees.
4. Customer Management, Team Management, Process Improvement, Quality Management, Clear and concise communications.
