职位描述
1. GENERAL SUMMARY
Work with assigned product development team in order to assure product quality at each step of the product development cycle, providing effective and timely test automation and manual test methods in support of product quality goals.
2. PRIMARY FUNCTION / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
? Performs black-box testing (verification of features and functions of a product, executing test specifications, adhoc testing, regression/verification and develop and/or execute automated tests) in support of product quality goals.
? Develop software test plans and software test specifications (STS) documents.
? Create clear, detailed problem descriptions and communicate them to the development team to aid in identification and resolution of product defects, utilizing Census defect tracking system.
? Provides accurate and timely project quality status reporting to project team and leadership through build summary reports and test coverage matrices.
3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
? BSEE/CE/CS with +3 yrs. product verification experience in Ethernet/WiFi/IP networking industry.
? Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols.
? Experience in developing and executing product verification test plan.
? Excellent troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
? Experience in using modern defect tracking systems.
? Familiarity with black box functional testing of embedded software systems.
? Experience with automated test scripting is a plus
? Programming experience using C/C++, Java, TCL and Web (HTML, XML).
? Understanding IPv6 is a plus.
? Excellent communication skills, both within the team and across the organization.
? Fluent in written and oral English.
