Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

· Managing (defining or improving, implementing and verifying) of overall manufacturing process flows, assembly and test procedure, and process support materials to sustain lean production.

· Development and implementation of related tools and fixtures to support production or quality improvement as well calibration or alignment methods

· Providing ongoing engineering-level problem-solving and troubleshooting guidance support for production

· Perform root cause analysis and develop countermeasures on top product failures to drive internal (FPY) and external (OBQ/WTY) quality improvement.

· Initiate Design improvement through Engineer change requests with proposal, manage change verification and validation and follow up timely documentation update.

· Timely communication or support on customer complaint, provide technical support for assigned products

· Providing technical support to suppliers for problem-solving, Spec interpreting or training, leading the first article qualification and approval.

· Project leadership for new product introduction or continuous improvement

· Driving the initial pilot builds, and resolving technical issues as they arise

· Other tasks assigned by management





Qualifications:
· EE, Optics, Mechanical Bachelors (with industry experience) or above

· 3-years above related experience in Optics & Optomechanics & Electronics system Manufacturing or Design experience.

· Practical “System Engineering” know how (at least as a manufacturing engineer) with good understanding adjacent engineering disciplines,

· High analyzing and logic capability, familiar with Problem solving tools (e.g. PSP, DMAIC), strong debug or troubleshooting experience of component/board level.

· Practical project management experience of introducing new products in manufacturing or quality improvement or vendor management,

· Some experience with software, firmware or scripting is a plus

· Good oral and written English

· Good communication skill and team working spirit

· Hardworking attitude and flexible to travel
