As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective lead generation and personal meetings. You will be responsible for representing the organization and creating awareness of the brand in front of our most important customers.
You will be expected to build the company’s sales pipeline in Universities and other research-basedinstitutions. The focus area will be to create awareness of Editage (www.editage.com ) services in these institutions through personal meetings. You will build contacts with the appropriate publication-focused departments at these Universities and give presentation of the company and its services.
Job responsibilities
- Conduct daily sales meetings
- Providing daily sales report to supervisor
- Creating a monthly and quarterly plan on sales activities for achieving revenue goals
- Managing leads and conversions through a sales software
- Coordinating with sales support and customer service teams
- Representing Editage at conferences, exhibitions, and workshops
Desired skills and experience
- Minimum 10 years of work experience, out of which at least 5 years in a Sales role
- Should have good knowledge and understanding of University structure in China
- Must be comfortable in working with technology and CRM softwares
- Experience in STM publishing preferred
- Have great communication skills and conversational English skills
- Should be ambitious, energetic, optimistic and people oriented
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiative
- Good networking skills
