Working Partners/Contacts
Internal contacts include regional sales manager, customer support & overseas technical manager/application specialist/product manager;
External contacts include end customers, distributors, KOLs;
Reports to Head of Sale & Marketing
Working Placing
This position will be based in Shanghai
Function & Responsibilities
- Develop professional application and technical solutions based on the product features, customer demands and clinical trends
- Multiply product and service knowledge and provide such trainings and knowledge transfer to internal and external partners
- Be the contact window for headquarter regarding specific product/application/service issues; Collect and provide local customer/market feedbacks to headquarter
- Thoroughly understand customer and market needs as well as competitive landscape including competitive pricing and positioning strategies
- Assist to develop product positioning and marketing strategy for local business
- Support and coordinate national and regional marketing events
- Assist RSMs to prepare tender documents and provide the proposals of competing strategy based on technical data and parameters
- Manage and expand the localized service network across the nation
- Conduct in-house service repair operations on timely basis
- Support the dealer’s engineer to solve the technical issues
- Plan and deliver services to key customers, e.g. maintenance, installation and training
- Manage product software and hardware updates for the local market
- Identify and report potential quality problems
- Provide product & technical support during product registration process
- Other tasks assigned by direct line-manager
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor degree
- Major in Biomedical Engineering preferred; Clinical Medicine such as Emergency/ICU/Respiratory/Anesthesia Physicians or Paramedics in Rescue Centers, and other engineering majors also acceptable
Experience
- Minimum 2 years ( 3+ years for diploma) product application or technical service experience in medical device industry (ventilators or defibrillators preferred); OR minimum 2 years clinical experiences in related hospital departments or Emergency Rescue Centers;
Capabilities
- Fluent English in both speaking and writing
- Self-motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a good team player
- Well organized, proactive, initiative, analytics, good presentation skills
- Relevant application service and clinical related knowledge
- Customer focus, result driven and quality oriented, open minded & multi-task
- Professional business ethics, networking built on trust
