ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Evaluates factory capability, management systems & practices. Through the assessment helps identify gaps through root cause analysis

-Provide consultation and develop suppliers performance improvement & remediation plan

-Responsible to communicate improvement to leadership, cross functional/project teams and vendor partners

-Executes comprehensive high quality factory assessments according to social and environmental guidelines

-Completes an audit recap and negotiates corrective time and action plan with factory management during the closing meeting

-Escalate issues appropriately to stakeholders

-Submit assessment results timely

-Organizes assessment findings and results

-Support onboarding and training of new vendors/factories

-Assess vendor responsible sourcing programs and provide recommendations for enhancement

-Assess and support quality improvement plans

-Behaves everyday with integrity and trust and always acts a Target Brand Ambassador.

REQUIREMENTS:

-4 year University degree or equivalent working experience

-3-5 years of experience in social or environmental responsibility or related work

-Multilingual with verbal and written proficiency in English

-Ability to travel frequently

-Knowledge about effective management systems (PDCA)

-Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of factory staff and employees

-Ability to identify risk and improvement opportunities while leading and performing audits

-Analytical experience related to social or environmental topics

-Expert in program management and problem-solving abilities

-Ability to work independently, and under general direction.

-Comfortable with ambiguity

The working location could be either Shanghai or Shenzhen as per the candidate preference
