Job Description
1. G/L accountant is expected to play the role of
a. Supervisory for other accounting function clerks and responsible for review accounts and make any necessary adjusting entries.
b. Control over PD end and Year end accounting closing schedule.
c. Support management proactively with timely and effective account analysis and reconciliation.
d. Drive for results, reliability, team spirit and proactive engagement are required.
 
Job Responsibilities
1. Perform G/L postings and monthly closing
2. Prepare monthly required financial statements;
3. Prepare deep-down analysis reports for the monthly financial statements ;
4. Coordinate annual external / internal audit and tax review;
5. Finish assigned task for projects, relevant for accounting topics and system changes;
6. Ensure practices, procedures and policies are implemented in line with Emerson standards and PRC statutory requirements;
7. Provide accounting and technical support to other accounting function clerks;
8. Assist annual audits; reconcile differences between local GAAP and US GAAP.
 
Basic Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related.
2. More than 2 years working experience in Industrial Foreign Invested Enterprise or accounting firm.
3. Good command of English, excellent skills in MS office and Kingdee system, knowledge of Oracle system is preferred.
4. Better familiar with US GAAP and new PRC GAAP.
5. Familiar with preparing annual financial statements.
6. Work experience of financial system setup is preferred.
