Requirements:
- 5-10 years’ experience in the management of quality control activities with 10 or more inspectors in or for a Western trading company
- Degree in engineering, preferred electrical/electronics or related
- Product experience with electronics/electrical AND hardgoods AND softlines
- Hands-on inspection experience
- Willingness to travel 50-75% of work time
- Proven good reputation
- Fluent English and Mandarin
- Hands-on, able to work under pressure, clear and organized, open to new ideas and flexible

Main Responsibility:
- leads a team of 20-25 QC Inspectors throughout mainland China .
- plans the manpower requirements for 10,000 inspections per year ahead of the season and minimizes costs of Third Party inspection services.
- streamlines inspection procedures and inspection travel schedules in order to maximize the number of orders inspected by QC and minimize travel costs.
- supervises and audits the QC Auditors.
- audits the QC Inspectors in addition to the audits performed by the QC Auditors.
- assigns Third Party inspection companies.
- aligns all Third Party inspection procedures and report formats with our procedures and formats.
- trains the QC Auditors in joint meetings 3-4 times per year, and whenever there are substantial changes in procedures (implementing of new tools, new report formats, major changes in the special tests to be performed during inspection).
- Other quality-related tasks.
