To further strengthen our organization, an antibody research group has been set up in 2007 in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Science Park, Shanghai. The following opportunity was created for the highly motivated and talented research scientist:
Responsibilities:
In this position, your main goal is to discover therapeutic antibodies for novel targets using combinatorial antibody phage libraries. This position covers various fields of molecular biology and protein biochemistry, A broad knowledge and repertoire of techniques in protein/antibody engineering using phage display to select, screening, expression and characterization of the recombinant protein or antibody is highly desirable. The candidate is required to be able to design and conduct the experiments independently. You will support the project leader in the overall planning and allocation of experiments.

Requirement:
PhD with a few years research experience in Antibody Engineering, Molecular Biology, immunology or related discipline. Background and experience in antibody phage display library construction, selection and characterization of the monoclonal candidates selected is highly desirable. High degree of self motivation, excellent planning, organization and communication skills, capable working in a bilingual environment (English and Chinese), and a desire to work cooperatively in a team environment will allow you to achieve the most in this newly set-up small dynamic group.
