1. Primary Purpose of Job (Job Summary) 主要工作目标（岗位简介）
The research associate in the EBV lab of virology department at pRED China will work in an innovative and collaborative multidisciplinary team to contribute to the smooth progress and successful delivery of the antiviral drug discovery project.

2. Principle Roles & Responsibilities / Accountabilities 主要职责/责任
(Major functions of the position) （职位的首要职能）

· Will assist senior scientist in implementation of various molecular virology studies including, but not limited to, cell-based antiviral and cytotoxicity assays, molecular mechanism of drug action, and drug combination studies.
· Should be able to analyze, interpret, and present experiment data with some independence and actively participates in scientific discussions and team meetings.
· Other related duties include assistance in purchasing reagents and equipment, organizing and maintaining the virology lab, and preparation of standard operation procedures.
· Be capable of working in a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

3. Qualification and Experience 能力与经验
Education/Qualifications教育程度/所获资格证书

Should hold a Master degree in virology, cell biology, molecular biology or a related field, working experience in industry is highly preferred.

Should communicate and collaborate efficiently with co-workers, and be able to record and present results in both English and Chinese.

Should have hands-on experience in conducting experiments involving basic cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry, and enzymology techniques; be capable of learning new scientific knowledge and experimental technology quickly; be able to multi-task, trouble-shoot, and deliver results in a fast-paced company environment.
