职位描述
1.Position: Reliability and Maintainability Engineer (RME)
2.Report to: Engineering Manager
3.Target and Mission: The Reliability and Maintainability Engineer's (RME) primary role is to influence the Quality of Design of TLD Products by insuring a high reliability and maintainability and a resulting low total cost of ownership (TCO).
4.General Requirements:
1) 2 to 4 years engineering design experience, or equivalent level of professional training in engineering.
2) Strong capability to understand the functional aspect of TLD products and the environment they are operating in.
3) Strong written and spoken English, analytical and interpersonal skill. Able to handle dynamic situations under time pressure and to resolve problems in an amicable way.
4) Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft office suite, Solidworks.
5) Familiar with ERP system.
6) Familiar with Electrical, Hydraulic and Mechanical Drive systems.
7) Must be very customer oriented.
8) Must be capable of working in the fields autonomously.
5. Special Requirements & Knowledge
1) Failure Mode Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
2) Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety (RAMS).
3) Hazard Operational Assessment(HAZOP)
4) Continuous Improvement Process Tools (CIPT).
5) Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) predictions
6) Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
7) Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL)
5. Responsibilities
1) Assure that the product development process focuses on reliability & maintainability aspects of our products, including:
a) intervention in the projects at an early design stage.
b) review of customer specifications to ensure our product is capable of meeting performance requirements
c) validation that the end item's reliability and maintainability goals are met by our component specifications and performance criteria.
d) Is the "Trouble Shooter" of the engineering department - PDC (Product Demerit Claims) fast track.
2) Ensure that Engineering changes are done so as to balance the reliability, maintainability and TCO goals.
3) Being the focal point in the Engineering Department for resolving Product Demerit Claims.
1)Search root causes of WC, PDC issues
2)Coordinate rectification of problems through Design change or other solutions
4) Keep close co-operation with all ASM and Service department of TLD to learn about any customer problem in the field
5) Accompany (whenever necessary) Service technicians into the field to fully understand the problem and work with the customer to resolve Reliability issues in the field related to TLD product.
6) Create and maintain Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) predictions.
7) Influence the Recommended Spare Parts list (RSPL) and PMOC based on experience from the field and Dependability studies.
8) Work in synergy with the other group RMEs, under the guidelines of the Group Service Director, to insure benchmarking of tools and terminology and to share the results of analysis.
9) Developing tools for measuring and predicting the Total Cost of Ownership for TLD Products. This includes preparing presentation tools for the Sales Department to influence their Customers.
7.Inter-Dependency and expected co-operation
1) Regular visits to customers, to check products utilization mode and field problems (50% of time).
2) Support the engineering department (25 % of time).
3) Work closely with and support the PSM (Product Support Manager), who works as bridge of factory and sales entities.
4) Support the efforts of the TLD Group Service Director to provide a common set of tools and terms and to benchmark the results of the other Group RME's.
